Frequently asked questions

The seller keeps the reservation open until the day you dine. We email you the name to give the host when you check in, along with the time and any notes the seller left. You arrive under that name and take the table.

You get a full refund. If the seller cancels, the restaurant drops the reservation, or the transfer does not happen for any reason, we refund your full payment, including the service fee.

You already pay for unlimited alerts on Premium and Expert, so we charge you less here too. On a free account, you'd pay a 15 percent service fee on a purchase. Premium drops that to 5 percent, and Expert cuts it to zero.

List your reservation with the restaurant, date, time, and a confirmation number, then submit it for review. Once we verify it, the listing goes live within a few hours. When it sells, we pay you out once the buyer checks in and the transfer confirms.

New York State law requires the restaurant's written consent before you can resell a reservation. We only list New York tables from partners the restaurant has already approved, so you'll see fewer New York listings than other cities until more restaurants opt in.

No. Alerts are free and remain the core service. We watch a restaurant for you and email you the moment a table opens, at no extra cost beyond your plan. The marketplace is a separate, opt-in option for when you cannot wait for an alert and want to buy a table someone else already has.
